Smith Cultural Trove offers African clothing, jewelry, shoes, baskets, home décor, accessories, and other cultural products.
Many of our products are handmade or created using traditional methods. Small differences in color, pattern, texture, shape, size, stitching, or finish may naturally occur. These variations make each product unique and are not considered defects.
Colors may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and the settings of your phone, tablet, or computer screen.
4. Product Information and Accuracy

Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability may change without notice. The price shown when an order is successfully submitted will normally apply to that order unless there is an obvious pricing or technical error.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed during checkout.
6. Orders
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. Smith Cultural Trove reserves the right to accept, refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:

- Incorrect pricing or product information

- Duplicate or unusually large orders

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the amount paid for the canceled item or order will be returned to the original payment method.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Smith Cultural Trove does not control the payment provider’s independent systems, security procedures, or privacy practices.
An order is not considered complete until payment has been authorized and the customer receives an order confirmation.
8. Order Changes and Cancellations

We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after it has been placed. Customers should contact us as soon as possible if a correction is needed.
Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be canceled. Eligible items may instead be handled according to our Refund and Return Policy.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of carrier issues, weather, holidays, high order volume, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Smith Cultural Trove is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address submitted by the customer.

Federal rules may require an online seller that cannot ship within the promised timeframe to obtain the customer’s agreement to a delay or provide the appropriate refund option.
10. Returns, Store Credit, and Exchanges
We do not provide cash refunds for eligible change-of-mind returns. Approved eligible returns are issued as store credit according to our Refund and Return Policy.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the full Refund and Return Policy before making a purchase.
Items marked final sale, including clearance, discounted, custom, made-to-order, and other specified items, cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Items that arrive damaged during shipping, are defective, or are different from what was ordered must be reported within the timeframe stated in our Refund and Return Policy.
The customer must provide clear photographs of the item and packaging when requested.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be waived. For example, when merchandise is never shipped, federal rules may require a refund rather than store credit.
11. Shipping Fees
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law or unless Smith Cultural Trove confirms that an error occurred on our part.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for eligible items returned for store credit.
Smith Cultural Trove will cover reasonable return shipping costs when an item is confirmed to have arrived damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered.
12. Final-Sale Items
Sale, discounted, clearance, custom, personalized, and made-to-order items are final sale. They cannot be returned, refunded, exchanged, or submitted for store credit unless they arrive damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered.

All website content, including the Smith Cultural Trove name, logo, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, designs, videos, text, and website layout, is owned by or licensed to Smith Cultural Trove unless otherwise stated.
